Markus Becker joins the Datamaran Board as a new Non-Executive Director.
London and New York, November 19, 2025 – Datamaran, the AI-powered sustainability software provider, announces the appointment of Markus Becker as Non-Executive Director to its Board. This appointment further strengthens Datamaran’s leadership as the company continues to grow and expand its position as the world’s leading ESG governance platform.
Markus brings extensive experience in building and scaling impact-driven SaaS businesses. As founder and long-time CEO of Quentic, a leading provider of integrated HSEQ and ESG management software, he led the company from its inception in 2007 to become one of Europe’s foremost sustainability technology firms. Under his leadership, Quentic grew to 300+ employees across 14 European locations, backed by prominent investors. In 2022, Quentic was acquired by AMCS Group in a transaction recognized as one of Germany’s most successful software exits in recent years.
Following the acquisition, Markus has been active as an independent advisor and investor, supporting SaaS and AI-driven companies in product strategy, scaling, and strategic positioning. His deep understanding of sustainability-focused digital solutions and his entrepreneurial background make him a valuable addition to Datamaran’s Board.
